Duties

  1. Planning and managing research affairs of the institute
  2. Preparation and organization of annual programs and executive calendar of activities in the field of research management and presenting it to the vice president of research
  3. Preparation and regulation of plans, regulations, instructions needed in the field of research activities and supervision of their implementation
  4. Evaluating and monitoring the good implementation of research projects and activities
  5. Evaluation of articles extracted from graduate theses
  6. Preparing and organizing the program of seminars, conferences, scientific lectures and educational-research workshops and specialized exhibitions of the institute and supervising their implementation
  7. Organization of research week program on the occasion of research week
  8. Introduction of students to institutes and research centers to conduct research
  9. Preparing and organizing statistics and information needed in the field of research management and presenting it to the relevant authorities
  10. Action to prepare and organize the performance report of the research management activities and submit it to the research assistant for review and compilation of the final performance report of the research assistant
  11. Examining and proposing the credits needed by the research units according to the determined programs and taking action to prepare and adjust the proposed annual budget in coordination with the research assistant
  12. Performing matters related to study opportunities and scientific trips and supervising the research affairs of the academic faculty (promotion, improvement and change of status)
  13. Evaluation of research activities of academic faculty members and its grading based on approved guidelines
  14. Addressing the research requests of faculty members, including providing encouragement for articles, research, etc.
